Generational Transition at Art-Invest Real Estate Funds: Eren Kahraman Takes Over as Managing Director from Philipp Henkels

- Philipp Henkels, founder of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds, will step down from the management board effective June 30, 2026.
- Eren Kahraman will join the executive board on July 1, 2026.
- Continuity and stability through internal succession: Eren Kahraman joins Jan Dührkoop and Jörg Hennebach on the management team.
At Art-Invest Real Estate Funds, the asset management company of the Art-Invest Real Estate Group regulated by BaFin, there will be a change in the management team at the end of this month. Philipp Henkels, who has been a managing director since Art-Invest Real Estate Funds was founded in 2011, will step down from the management board on 30 June 2026. With effect from 1 July, Eren Kahraman has been appointed to the management board by the supervisory board of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds, joining Jan Dührkoop and Jörg Hennebach on the existing board.
Eren Kahraman has been part of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds since its inception in 2011. During this time, his responsibilities included overseeing the BaFin approval process for the launch and management of open-ended special funds, as well as establishing the company’s risk management system. In the years that followed, he took on responsibility for the group’s debt financing operations. Going forward, in accordance with the division of responsibilities, his additional duties will include, alongside Finance, the areas of Sustainability (ESG) and Human Resources.

Art-Invest Real Estate Funds was founded in 2011 as an asset and investment management company and received authorisation from BaFin in 2012 to launch specialised property funds. Since then, the company has steadily developed into an established provider of regulated investment funds. As of 31 December 2025, the company managed around EUR 7.2 billion in equity across 26 institutional vehicles, which are overseen by around 80 staff members.
