BRANDTELF IN DETAIL

All High German Again

The five-story new building, including underground parking, on Bonn’s prominent Museum Mile encompasses an entire street carrée between Willy-Brandt-Allee, Heussallee, Welckerstrasse and Schlegelstrasse. Landmark decisions were once taken here, such as the way into the first grand coalition; since the government moved here, the lingua franca has returned to High German.

Between the United Nations and German History

The “brandtelf” is located in the direct proximity of the UN Campus, the Deutsche Welle and the Posttower. The House of German History, the Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Art Museum of the City of Bonn are within walking distance.
