Centrally located in Braunschweig’s city center, the Premier Inn Hotel was built in 1982 as part of the Welfenhof ensemble. Extensive renovation work took place in 2015/2016 and an additional 29 rooms were added to the hotel in 2021/2022. In total, the hotel has an area of 9,222 m², with an additional 805 m² distributed over six retail units. The building was built by Brunswick architects Henschker, Schmidtke and Wendt and, with a total of 203 rooms, is one of the largest hotels in the city. Art-Invest Real Estate acquired the building complex from DIO Deutsche Immobilien Opportunitäten AG at the beginning of 2023.
